XTC Cemented Carbide Grits and Pellets Introduction
Among geology, mine, coal mining, and metro shield industries, workpieces need to have both excellent abrasion resistance and machinability but traditional abrasion resistant welding layer with high Chromium alloy cannot satisfy the service life and machinability requirement. Under this service condition and performance requirement, one of the most effective ways to improve abrasion resistance of welding layer is to add tungsten carbide grits or pellets into it.

Cemented carbide particles: 1.0-2.0mm, 3.2-4.8mm, 4.8-6.4mm, 6.4-8.0mm;

3. Application
Tungsten carbide grits and pellets are good
adding materials to produce cemented carbide welding products. Luoyang Golden
Egret has successfully developed tungsten carbide welding rods, tungsten
carbide welding ropes, cemented carbide composite welding rods, cemented
carbide welding sticks,tungsten carbide welding bar. They could be applied with welding and
renovation of abrasive resisting welding layers of petroleum tools milling shoes,
centering guide, reamer, tool joint, hydraulic cutter, scraper, coal planer
tool, coring bit, and auger bit etc. Customized products are available.

PTA welding powder, laser cladding powder,
spray welding powder can mix with prepared self-fluxing alloy into composite
materials. Under drilling condition, self-fluxing alloy could fix hard alloy
tungsten carbide grits onto service layers, to form a self-grinding blade
cutting layer. Hard and sharp cemented carbide grits can cut into rocks easily,
and won`t be impacted to crack while self-grinding due to the protection of
bonding metal, which could effectively enhance the drilling speed and rock
level, also improve the abrasion resistance and service life of workpieces.
